Christine Verhulp
Founder
Christine started Verhulp Business Solutions (VBSVirtual) in December 2016.
Prior to starting the company, Christine worked in office management while she moved around for her husband’s career. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration through Western Governors University. She works with clients throughout the US by developing strategies and solving internal problems to help support and grow their businesses. Christine is passionate about helping clients find their path to success.
She currently lives in Washington with her husband, Andrew, their three kids — Madisyn, Amelya, and Emily — and their German Shepherd, Bas. When she is not working, you can find her outdoors, baking goodies, or snuggled up watching movies with her family!
Brittany Whitsett
Social Media and Website Management Contractor
Brittany joined Verhulp Business Solutions in October 2021 as a Virtual Assistant and is now a Virtual Business Contractor. She has a decade of healthcare experience ranging from hands-on clinical nursing to healthcare management. She is hardworking and customer focused. She holds a Masters of Science in Management and Leadership along with a Bachelors in Marketing and multiple social media marketing and Human Resources certifications. Brittany has a positive bubbly personality and wants to make a positive impact on each person she encounters.
Holli Denmark
Provider Training and Credentialing Coordinator
Holli joined Verhulp Business Solutions in December 2021 as a Virtual Assistant and is now a Virtual Business Contractor. She spent the last 5 years in the medical admin field and is currently a general admin VA. She is a baker, traveler, and loving dog mom. When she’s not working, you’ll find her kayaking during the summer, hiking in the fall/winter, or making clay earrings. She takes every opportunity to explore her new hometown of Chattanooga, TN and enjoys any chance to spend time with friends and family. She believes in living each day to its fullest potential as tomorrow is not promised.

Essence joined Verhulp Business Solutions in March 2024 as a Virtual Assistant. She is originally from Landstuhl, Germany, but has primarily resided in South Carolina. She earned her degree in Mass Communications with a minor in journalism from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Over the years, Essence has gained experience in various fields, and her most recent role was as an office assistant in pediatrics. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys indulging in activities such as journaling, reading, traveling, and cooking, especially when she’s not cherishing moments with her newborn.

With six years of experience in the medical field, she is dedicated to her work and passionate about helping others. She worked in the Medical Field for seven years before getting married and becoming a stay-at-home mom. Amanda is a Virtual Assistant specializing in social media support, graphic design, and branding for entrepreneurs and businesses around the globe. With 12 years of experience, she has partnered with clients across the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and beyond to create content that resonates with audiences and drives measurable results.

Walking is her favorite form of exercise, The Wizard of Oz is her all-time favorite movie, and yes—she proudly admits to occasionally overusing exclamation marks (!!).

Bri joined Verhulp Business Solutions in January 2025 as a Virtual Assistant. She holds a Finance degree and has experience in bookkeeping, banking, and administration. Originally from Wisconsin, she lived in Iowa for seven years before moving to Ohio in April 2024. In her free time, Bri enjoys running, cooking, and traveling.
Brianna (Brie) Crawford

Brie joined Verhulp Business Solutions in August 2025 as a Virtual Assistant. She is a JAWS-certified Accessibility Specialist Assistant with over 13 years of experience in healthcare, administration, education, and digital accessibility. She holds a degree in Advanced Radiologic Sciences, along with certifications in Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Assisting, and Health Administration.
Brie specializes in creating and remediating forms and documents to ensure full usability for the blind and low-vision community, with expertise in WCAG 2.1 compliance, screen reader testing, and inclusive design. Her professional background includes schedule management, call center operations, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, prior authorizations, patient care, and delivering effective, compassionate communication. Known for her organizational skills and problem-solving abilities, she consistently optimizes workflows, maintains HIPAA compliance, and improves accessibility for diverse audiences.
Outside of work, Brie enjoys traveling, she has completed 11 military moves alongside her husband and visited 12 countries. She also loves cooking and spending time with her two children: Traeden, age 6, and Taemar, age 1. She values family time, new experiences, and, when possible, a well-earned nap.

Brianna joined Verhulp Business Solutions in May 2024 as a Virtual Assistant. She is a dedicated and highly organized individual, bringing extensive experience in administrative support for healthcare professionals and customer service. Adept at handling a wide range of tasks that streamline operations and enhance patient care, Brianna holds a degree in psychology and a master’s in education. She is currently pursuing a degree in counseling. Residing in Wyoming with her husband, Justin, two children, three dogs, and four quail, Brianna enjoys gardening, traveling, and undertaking DIY projects around her home when not working or studying.

Brooke joined Verhulp Business Solutions in September 2025 as a Virtual Assistant. Prior to that, she spent four years in administrative services and worked as an invoice specialist. She also brings twelve years of experience in the medical field, where she served as both a medical assistant and an EHR trainer.
She lives in Ohio with her husband, two children, and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. When she’s not working, Brooke enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, and has recently discovered a love for gardening.

Chelsea joined Verhulp Business Solutions in February 2024 as a Virtual Assistant. She worked in the medical field as a medical assistant for 7 years before transitioning to become a stay-at-home mom. A couple of years ago, she rejoined the workforce, focusing on medical transcription and billing. Her husband is a firefighter, and together they have three beautiful girls. She enjoys working out, participating in family game nights, walking, riding four-wheelers, and embracing outdoor activities.

At home, Cynthia’s world is lively with her three boys, one girl, three cats, and a rabbit. She enjoys spending time outdoors—especially hiking and kayaking—and finds balance through meditation. A dedicated sports mom, she not only loves playing basketball but also coaches her son’s team. Cynthia thrives on both family life and meaningful work, bringing the same energy and commitment to her clients that she pours into her home and community.

Erica joined Verhulp Business Solutions in May 2024 as a Virtual Assistant. She has worked in various medical positions and received her Surgical Technology Degree from Vincennes University in 2005. She lives in a small town in Indiana with her husband, 2 children, and Giant Schnauzer! She became a stay-at-home mom to support her two amazing children with Autism. Now that they are on a great path, she has joined the workforce again. In her spare time, she loves being outdoors with her family, working in her flower gardens, and working on DIY projects! Another passion of hers is advocating for other Autism families and spreading awareness.

Lindsay joined Verhulp Business Solutions in February 2023 as a Virtual Assistant. She holds a nursing license and has over a decade of medical experience including bedside nursing, running clinical trials, pre and post insurance authorizations, as well as verifying insurance benefits. She is detail-oriented, great at multi-tasking, and also a quick learner. She lives in Minnesota with her husband Chad and their 2 teenagers, Rilynn and Brady. When not at home, you will find her at the ice rink, golf course, or swimming pool cheering on her kids at their sporting events. She lives in a small town in South Carolina with her fiancé, two daughters, son, and their leopard gecko. With four years of experience in the mental health field, Sierra has managed patient scheduling, insurance verification, payment processing, insurance audits, and claims management. She also brings a year of hospital billing experience, focusing on claim denials, medical records, and overall claims handling.
In 2019, she graduated with honors, earning her certification in Medical Billing and Coding. When she’s not working, Sierra enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, camping, attending local events, fishing, and reading.
Veronica Rodriguez

Veronica joined Verhulp Business Solutions in September 2025 as a Virtual Assistant. With nearly nine years of remote experience in a healthcare call center, she specializes in insurance verifications, provider benefits, and the daily processing of both medical and vision claims. Her professional journey began in the U.S. Army, where she served as a Human Resources Specialist at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, establishing a strong foundation in administrative support and personnel management.
Over the past 15+ years, she has built extensive customer service expertise across multiple industries, including banking. In 2017, she transitioned to remote work, focusing on provider credentialing with various insurance companies.
Most recently, she earned her Medical Billing and Coding Specialist certification from the University of Texas at San Antonio, expanding her knowledge and skill set within the healthcare field. Known for her tenacity, reliability, and integrity, she takes pride in delivering high-quality work and providing dependable support to her team.
Outside of work, she enjoys living life to the fullest and creating meaningful memories with her family.
